Steel and Integrity

When a structure is being built, no one wants the construction crew to use compromised materials or the architect to cut corners. We use buildings all day and everyday. When we sleep, work, or play, we trust our surroundings to stand the test of time. Infrastructure materials and structures are tested for their integrity to ensure their dependability.
Integrity for infrastructures? I thought integrity was only in reference to humans, soft skills, and debatable ethics.
“Webster dictionary
1.the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles;
2. the state of being whole and undivided, the condition of being unified, unimpaired, or sound in construction.”

Maybe the two definitions are not that distant in meaning.
Humans are to business as steel is to a building. A few peers start a business, they hire other humans, and do business with people who need their services. Each moving part of a business is set in motion and held together by people. Each person adds to the culture of a business and represents the brand. When the character of each person is in line with the company culture the structure is strengthened. The DNA is resounding.
